Is there an easier way to install Bookmarklets?

We get it.  Installing Bookmarklets on an iPhone is not easy.  We tried to simplify things by pasting the javascript that you need to use onto your clipboard to cut out a few steps.  Still, it might take a few tries to get things right.

Frankly, the easiest way to do it is to create it on your laptop or desktop and set things up so your bookmarks sync with your phone.  You can do this with both Safari and Chrome, but Safari might be a bit trickier for your if you aren't on a Mac.

There'll be a "Other Tools" page on the main website, but in the meantime, you can use this javascript to manually create a Bookmarklet:
javascript:window.location='clipThisLink://'+encodeURIComponent(document.URL)

Note that the above will only create a Bookmarklet for your iPhone or iPad.  Follow the main "Bookmarklet" instructions for one that you can use on your laptop or desktop.
